Argerich will be appear in Hiroshima and Tokyo this summar

Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra announced Martha Argerith will be perform in Aug 5(Hiroshima HBG hall) & 11(Suntory Hall, Tokyo) with conductor Kazuyoshi Akiyama. Argerich will perform Beethoven’s Piano concert No.1 C Major Op.15 as a tribute to 70 years of atomic bombing of Hiroshima.

Ticket will be sold from June 7th.

“Argerich’s Haus” has completed and had ceremony with herself at Beppu

Beppu, the venue of annual music festival named “MUSIC FESTIVAL Argerich’s Meeting Point in Beppu”, today welcomed new concert venue dedicated to great pianist Martha Argerich. After the ceremony Argerich and young Japanese musician played first movement from  R.Schumann’s  Piano Quintet in E-flat major, Op. 44 and third movement from same piece as a encore.

Argerich’s haus will have open house  May23-June3.

MISA 2015 in Shanghai will be Jul7-18

1550503misaOne of iconic event in Shanghai’s summer, this year’s MISA(Music In Summer Air) will be 2015/Jul/7-18 according to their document calling for volunteer.

MISA is directed by Chinese giant conductor Long Yu and Charles Dutoit and its already 5th in this year.
